St. Fiacre Gardens is a Rochester-based micro-farm community inspired by the Catholic Worker Movement.

Winter Update from Chris Phillips
FieldsWe continue to  care for the microfarm gardens and adopted orchard trees, but our schedule is more limited due to family illness.  We have resumed a morning prayer routine on Monday mornings.

Regular helpers and core community members will meet in early January to develop the planting plan for spring 2014 to spring 2015, and compile a collective seed order.  Call us at 585-305-6949. For some vision elements, routine snapshots, or to read the farmer's winter 2013 reflections please visit our general blog: st-fiacre-microfarm.

Saint Fiacre Microfarm is not accepting new consumers at this time.  Thank you for your interest. Due to family health issues we were not able to hold our Summer or Winter CSAs this year. We look forward to restoring the full Winter CSA in years to come. This has been a consumer centerpiece for lots of fresh greens and other produce Nov thru May since 2008.  If you would like to be on the notification list for Winter CSA memberships read on below, and email or call Chris with your contact information. Thanks!

If you would like to arrange a mini membership for a small list of crops please be in contact with Chris.  Examples of crops for which we could make mini arrangements are Raspberries, Peaches, Apples, Pears, Herb Teas, Cut Flowers, winter greens or roots.   Memberships for summer crops should be arranged by February 15th. Arrangements for Nov thru May 2015 crops should be finalized by July 1st.

Please pray for our family and friends, and that our work will continue to humble us, glorify God, and reveal to us our true position in a marvellous cosmos.   May the Great Mystery hold your life, like a holy seed in the fertile dark of God's heart.

With good wishes from the microfarm community.

In the Earth and under God,

Chris Phillips, Farmer
